Whatdya think?

I'm thinking since school is starting tomorrow that I might want to implement TFHOD with my kids tonight. You don't think it would traumatize them too much do you? And how exactly would this work since I live in a one story house? Hmmmm

OMG!! I need to do that. Anna (my 9 year old) has been in bed by around 9:30/10 pm but won't fall asleep until midnight!!!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!

How about out of your basement window? Wait. Do you even have basements in SoCal?

I'm wondering the same thing Tracy (about the 1 story thing).

Christine, I can't speak for Tracy, but I don't have a basement. I'm going to have to ponder this some.

My 9 year old knocks out early every night, but my 11 year old? OY, that child would stay up all night if I'd let her.

School starts tomorrow for you? (er..is that today? I'm behind in my reading and too lazy to go look at the date..lol) We don't start until the 25th.

Oh lord, someone may need to do that to me in another week or two when we teachers have to report back. 6AM comes WAY too early!

I’ve started asking the kids at night: You’ve brushed your teeth? Do you need anything else? Any booboos need bandaids? Do you need a drink? Have you gone to the bathroom? Any weird shadows I need to get rid of? Do what you need to now because I do NOT want you out of bed. My little one inevitably gets up and says I can’t sleep. “Well honey, we turned the light of 2 seconds ago, give it a little time!” lol

Christine – no, no basement…just like Holly…maybe I can have my hubby sit under their window outside haha!

Shannon – I can’t imagine being a teacher…I can barely get the kids there that early!

Oh and yes Holly - they start tomorrow, the 13th. You're so lucky yours don't start until the 25th!!! I'm jealous! lol

Whew getting to bed at night sucks even at my age. Although now I tend to zonk out pretty early compared to then...

I'd be freaking out right now if they were starting back tomorrow. We haven't even done our back to school shopping yet. LOL

This is hilarious. Though it seems like that might keep them awake...but quiet.

I would piss my pants if I saw that outside my bedroom window. Knowing kids these days, they will laugh and want to play with it.

OMG. I'm scared of the dark. TFHOD would put me in therapy.

Sarai – I know…when we were kids we wanted to stay up forever. Now sleep is such a hot commodity!

Holly – I bought them some clothes for them not long ago and since it’s still hell hot here they don’t want anything else right now, thank heavens. I’ll wait a couple of weeks and then get stuff when it’s on sale. That’s me, always the bargain shopper! :)

CJ – Yeah, it probably would keep them awake…but in their rooms! lol

lol KB – I probably would too.

Oh Jen – you poor thing. I won’t bring TFHOD to your house anytime soon! :)

Tracy, the floating head of death would have scared the crap out of me. Now my parents didn't have to worry about me going to sleep at night. 8 o'clock rolled around and I was sacked out. Didn't matter if there was company at the house or what.

School here in SC starts this coming Monday. My brother teaches down in Mississippi and their school started yesterday.

Yeah, TFHOD would have scared the crap out of me too! lol Ok, ok, it's a tad harsh, but it's damn funny! lol
