I shielded my face with my hands. I wasn't sure which way the blood spray from a crushed head would go, but I didn't want it to hit me in the eye.

You should subscribe to JCP's newsletter. Just recently she had a special promo where if you got two books you got 10% of at JCP books. I think she doesn't necessarily release to resellers. Not sure though but if you get the newsletter you'll get work on when there is a coupon and then you can pick up a couple perhaps.
Psycop is fantastic... love Victor and Jacob. The cover model's pretty hot too ;)
