Fun in New Orleans

How the hell are ya'll?  (I had to throw that ya'll in there cuz, ya know, I'm in the south)

I finally made it to New Orleans, Louisiana safe and sound and found the apartment that Tam, Chris, Kris, Janna, Leontine and Kassa and I are sharing.  It effin huge and really nice.  Tam did a great job finding it.

It's so great to see Chris, Tam and Kris again and absolutely wonderful to meet Janna, Leontine and Kassa - they're all so great!

We headed off to the French Quarter to have lunch and ate at Muriels.  Here's Tam standing outside...and here's Leontine eating a Po Boy.  Mmmm. :)

We registered for GayRomLit and then hung out looking at the goodie bags we got.  We had a opening Gala where we got to mingle with other attendees as well as talk to authors.

After Tam and I ate at an adorable diner we all headed to Lafitte's in Exile for the Gentlemen's Juke-Joint Junket.  There I got to meet Patti from Caught in a Fab Romance and that was very cool as well - she's so nice! We had an open bar for well drinks and go-go type "dancers" standing on the bar in their underoos.  Well, a couple of them were. One guy must have gotten very warm while he was standing around because next thing ya know he was standing there in nothing but his shoes, a hat and a smile.  Hello.  Never a dull moment in NOLA! lol  Did I take pictures of the nekkid man? Uh, no, sorry.  You'll just have to imagine it...or head to one of the other ladies blogs and see if they took one! lol

Today we're off for beignets and cafe au lait, a vampire/ghost walking tour and a riverboatride/book signing.  Should be fun!
